Bosou questions, “They have misconstrued your containment as your calm. do they understand that you come with the force of all the generations?
“Bossou (boSOO) has a number of manifestations, but all match his original image as a human with bull’s horns. Some of the Bossou Lwa are very fierce and dangerous, and are honored as part of the Petro nation of spirits; but because of his Dahomeyan origin, Bossou is traditionally considered one of the Rada Lwa. As Bossou Twa Kòn (bo-SOO twa CONE, “Three-Horned Bosou”), this Lwa is a charging bull that grants his servitors strength and magical power, as well as physical stamina and good health. As Djabolo (JO-bo-lo, “Devil”) Bossou, he can destroy enemies or break challenges. If Bossou is given a saint as a representation, it is Saint Luke, the Bull of the Four Evangelists; or one of several images of Jesus Christ, depicted with three rays of light emanating from his head like horns.”
